Seasonal camping at Birchden Wood. Birchden Wood campsite is the perfect place to camp if you're climbing at Harrisons Rock.
It's a small and basic site, but has all the necessities: toilet block, washing up area, fire pit and car park. There are no showers onsite.
Birchden Wood (the woodland surrounding Harrison's Rocks) is owned by Forestry England and is open access land.
Due to the exceptionally high wildfire risk and following the Government's latest wildfire safety measures and public guidance, outdoor cooking is not permitted on-site currently.
